Bough Beech reservoir is a single body of water covering 285 acres set within the picturesque tree lined countryside of the Weald of Kent crossing the Sussex border. Its coloured deep waters were in previous years ran as a trout fishery attracting large numbers of anglers during the season in pursuit of brown and rainbow trout, however these amenities now provide excellent coarse, carp and pike fishing generating countrywide interest A great view across the reservoirs rich deep waters. Since the reservoirs creation in the early 1970`s Sutton and East Surrey Water have owned the water with all fishing amenities controlled and managed by famous fishery manager Ken Crow. As well as offering a wealth of knowledge and experience in catching the venues resident fish Ken opperates carp, pike and coarse syndicates for the venue including coarse tickets available through several local angling clubs. A hectic timetable of match fishing events are held throughout the year including hosting the qualifying rounds of the Drennan Super Cup, and more to impress in 2007. Those among us who enjoy the competition of match fishing will appreciate that this is the very pinnacle of fixtures reflecting both in the quantity of fish bagged and quality of the venue hosting this most prestigious of match fishing events.
