Bough Beech reservoir is a single body of water covering 285 acres set within the picturesque tree lined countryside of the Weald of Kent crossing the Sussex border. Its coloured deep waters were in previous years ran as a trout fishery attracting large numbers of anglers during the season in pursuit of brown and rainbow trout, however these amenities now provide excellent coarse, carp and pike fishing generating countrywide interest Crickle cross . Since its construction in the early 1970`s Sutton and East Surrey Water have owned bough beech reservoir with fishing amenities controlled and managed by fishery manager Ken Crow. As well as offering a wealth of knowledge and experience in catching the venues resident fish Ken opperates carp, pike and coarse syndicates with coarse tickets available through several local angling associations. A hectic timetable of match fishing events are held throughout the year including qualifying rounds of the Drennan Super League, and more in 2009. Those who enjoy the competition of match fishing will appreciate that the reservoir provides a fantastic fixture reflected in both the quantity and quality of fish banked. Photo Album
